Learn Arabic with Ava

Learning Arabic shouldn’t feel intimidating. It should feel like opening the door to real conversations, culture, and connection.

I’m Ava, founder of Arabic Made Simple, a native Arabic speaker and language educator passionate about helping you experience Arabic the way it’s truly spoken. I’m originally Yemeni, from a region deeply connected to the early roots of Arab identity and the Arabic language itself. This heritage shapes the way I teach — with an emphasis on authenticity, history, and living language. After 12 years teaching Arabic and a high success rate with my 1:1 students, I decided to bring my program to you.

Many students begin learning Arabic through textbooks or formal grammar, only to discover that real conversations sound completely different. My approach focuses on spoken Arabic, cultural context, and practical communication so that you can start understanding and speaking much sooner. Learn more about my method and dialects available under the “About” page. My program is unique in that it takes you from “I don’t know which dialect to choose” to speaking your intended dialect while also building exposure to and familiarity with other major Arabic dialects. If you want to know more about my program, click the button below.

In addition to teaching Arabic, I’m also a medical student with a background in science and education. My academic training has shaped the way I approach teaching — breaking down complex ideas into clear, approachable steps that make learning both structured and enjoyable.

Through my teaching and educational content, I’ve helped thousands of students begin their journey into Arabic and discover that the language is far more approachable than they expected.

My goal is simple:
to help you move from feeling intimidated by Arabic to feeling confident speaking it!
